Dior Homme F/W08 Footwear Collection

The Kris Van Assche led Dior Homme 2008 fall/winter footwear collection is seen here as we see a healthy mix of traditional and contemporary styles. Although for the most part the profiles are of a classical nature with chukka boots and lace-ups side-by-side with Dior Homme’s own sneaker interpretations, patent leather is a predominate material. The multiple use of straps is also a theme that repeats itself over the course of sneakers and boots.

Nike SB Air Zoom Tre A.D. “McFly”

As an influential prop in the movie Back to the Future II concept is set for another return. Initially Nike applied the Marty McFly-worn Nike Mag colorway on the flagship basketball shoe, the Hyperdunk. Allegedly in the works is the same application on one of Nike’s most advanced skate shoes, the Air Zoom Tre A.D. The colorway works unsurprisingly well on the Tre as it features the same gray uppers albeit with less prominent use of blue. Like the Hyperdunk, the Tre also glows in the dark as the Swoosh becomes illuminated in low-light situations. A release date TBA
